Question for you folks. Who here has 146.52 146.535, and 146.550, maybe more programmed in that order in their radios> So if some weird reason 52 s busy you can just turn the knob one click and get another simplex frequency

I have mine exactly that way. In fact all the way up to 146.595. My little group of hammies that I run will uses 146.595 as our default simplex. I'm hearing more people on 146.580 as well.

I have 52 and 535 as easy to get to presets (#1 and #2 memory slots on my radios). I have a bunch of others as well, but they're loaded farther down the line.

I used to monitor 52 during my morning and afternoon commutes, but a couple of channel hogging a$$hats running lots of power with CB-style QSO's made listening unpleasant.

My friends and I use 535 as our primary 4-Wheeling channel.
