Well nuts, not long after that posting the site seems to be back to running normal. Dang it i didnt have time to clean out my junk files or get a cleaner program. Im glad my computer is magically fixed.

I have done computer repair for about 40 years, and the majority I see that are slow is because of the junk files and cache that are ever cleaned out. The last computer I worked on had about 15 gb of useless files. Get a good cleaner program like CCleaner (no ads) and see if that helps your problems.

Clear Firefox cache : Tools> Options > Privacy and Security> Cached Web Content >Clear now

All sites slow to a crawl when my cached content is approaching maximum, no matter what the size of the junk files are. I also use the free CCleaner to delete the junk files. Also, my experience is that Firefox Quantum is the first version of Firefox that is really as fast as advertised.

The BRAVE browser gives you some control options over web pages. It doesn't hang or drag like some others.

With adblock plus you have to click the adblock icon and select BLOCK, then go to the ad and manually select them. It took about 5 times for me to get them all gone.
