Ambient 7-Day Weather Forecaster - No Network Connection?

Okay, first things first…

I am just a guy who lives in NYC and owns an Ambient Devices 7-Day Weather Forcaster that I bought 15 years ago.

Until last week everything was fine…hourly updates for the last 15 years.

Now, after resetting the device I get “In-Network Pls Wait 1 Hr”.

I have seen threads on this forum and elsewhere discussing the demise/resurrection of the services that support this device.

I am not at all technical so I can’t be sure, but is seems like some people (Michael-STAX?) have figured out how to keep their devices running.

So, is there a path forward for my weather forecast device?

If so, what is it?

actually i would like to know about this too. checked out mfg website and i would like to know where the magic data comes from myself as it isnt terribly clear.

Well, of course I can’t add any useful technical info to this discussion but I can tell that…

It’s working again as of 11:28 EDT in NYC…

Go figure.
