Can anybody confirm that Ambulance NB is switching to new encrypted radios within the next few weeks? I saw new radios with encryption mentioned by a reliable source.
I wonder where the new talkgroups are?
I checked Unitrunker on my laptop and I can confirm in northern NB that Ambulance NB switched to a new TG that is encrypted. They are using TG 50972. There is also a cross patch between TG 50972 and 50971, 50973 and 50974.
That makes the most sense. They have around 60 talkgroups and the last talkgroup for ANB currently is 50965. New talkgroups will likely start at 50966 as there is a good size block of well over 200 available talkgroups between ANB and JPS which starts at 51200. Depending how they plan it out, talkgroups may even stay in the same order.

ANB in the Western Region of the province at least has a patch between the hospital and West-1 (for now) until encryption hits. Haven't noticed any encrypted talk groups in use here as of yet. This has been in planning for months, from what I gathered from multiple people. Fire departments in NB are eventually going to be fully encrypted in the coming years like Nova Scotia too at one point or another.

I can confirm that from Perth Andover to Kedgwick are eincrypted when passing by Edmundston.
I have received ANB's new fleetmap and everything is encrypted, including 16 new encrypted mutual aid channels. Their timeline to finish up the last few radios was yesterday, Nov. 7th. As always, if you can identify their new talkgroups, please submit them.

Since all Atlantic EMS have gone to encryption. I would think that 3065-Ambulance Travel has switched too.
It's been only used by PEI ever since EHS went encrypted. Rarely was ANB heard on there. I haven't heard it in the last few days. Not sure if IEMS still use it or if they switched over too, same with 3001 AMT AIR.
3065 AMB TRAV is still in use by Island EMS as of today. 3001 AMT Air was still in use in PEI as of a month ago. Haven’t had a Lifeflight helicopter in Charlottetown for a month so I’m not sure if that‘s still the case. QEH was testing a new base radio recently, so they may be switching as well.
