Just took a Lower Mississippi River cruise from Memphis to New Orleans with American Cruise Lines on the American Splendor. Our state room was directly behind the pilot house, and I had close call running & recording going 27/7 on my SDS 100. I talked to the Captain several times and told him that I was listening to the marine traffic. He seemed interested and told me about the marine channels they were using and when.
