Are there any updates available as to the radio communication system being used at the American Dream Mall and Complex?

I sent in updates to the database with info I got a few months ago when I tracked it for 2 days.

Sentinel is not importing Capacity Max systems from the RRDB. It's an issue that Uniden needs to fix, not RR. In the meanwhile, you'll need to add it manually as a Tier III system. It may or may not track properly with the channel numbers documented in the RRDB, so you may have to run LCN Finder to get it to work (if your scanner is capable, you don't mention which model you have).

Ah yes of course, if you have ProScan or any other software compatible with your scanner and the RRDB, you can use that to load the system. If you have never used/installed ProScan, you can demo it with full functionality for 30 days.

The scanner is the SDS200 with a DMR upgrade and yes, I have ProScan.

Thanks for the advice.

OK, so I loaded the American Dream system onto my SDS200 as listed on RR using ProScan. I am about 3 - 4 miles line of sight from the complex with a topside discone antenna. I am not hearing a peep from the American Dream radio system. Has anyone actually been able to monitor any comms from this site?

Just a thought, many malls have gone to encryption, if so you wouldn't hear them. Also, if it is low powered inside the mall 3-4 miles might be too far away.

Not sure about the encryption, but I am getting full signal strength indicators on the display as what I assume are transmissions being made, yet I hear no audio. Does not stop on any channels.

As I previously suggested, try running LCN Finder on the system. It's possible that the SDS is looking for different channel numbers than we have in the RRDB.

I enabled American Dream on my SDS200 and I started getting coms right away. In less then a few minute I got the TG's for Water Park, Security, Guest Services, Attractions, Amusements and more. See see attached. ,

I ran LCN Finder and nothing happened. The only other thing I could think of is that the color codes are all listed at 0.
Should they be set to search? Here are two photos of the SDS200 screen. Slot 1 and Slot 2 are showing. I am getting decent signal strengths
but receiving nothing.

OK....I ran the LCN finder for two days. Slow going, but it found 10 of the 12 channels in use at this facility.

I saved those 10 and it seems to be working now. I will listen for a while as the audio seems to be funky and migh t need
adjustments if that is at all possible.

It's my first time working with a DMR system.

Thanks for all the help.

Please download the programming from the scanner and take a look at the LCN's the scanner has stored for those 10 channels, and post them here. Let's see how they compare with what we have in the database.

Hmm…quite a bit different than what the RR database has.
I had the same problem when I downloaded from the RRD DB, this is what I got when I did search and its working fine for me. I sent in a RR DB update a few months ago.
