The Edmond unit more than likely was not actually dispatched. Multiple different operations share similar unit numbers. For example, there could be an ED105 in Edmond, and a WF105 in Wichita Falls. They never say the ED or WF. Also, the dispatcher can be controlling multiple different systems at once and often forgets to unselect one channel before keying on another. The TG is always monitored, but we really don't utilize it much.I’m assuming they don’t do much communication with AMR dispatchers since it’s all done out of Lewisville, TX. Dispatch TG may not always be monitored. Also worth noting, I did hear a dispatcher accidentally dispatch a call in Wichita County, TX on the AMR Edmond talkgroup recently.
