Does anyone know if AMR has active frequencies in Denton, Dallas or Tarrant counties I hear them on EMS to hospital on the Tarrant system just curious if they have any dispatch frequencies.

In Dallas County, you can hear AMR on 453.0575 PL 192.8, and 453.17500 PL 203.5.

They also cover certain parts of Ellis County on 159.3675 DCS 532. They may have access to a talkgroup on NTIRN in Ellis County, but I don't believe anyone has submitted any specifics on that.

They do show a repeater in Crowley (Tarrant County), 461.4750, but I think that someone has noted in the past that this was mainly for dispatching units in Johnson County. AMR is using TGID 6543 on the Johnson County layer of NTIRN.

AMR does handle EMS in Arlington, using the TGIDs assigned to Arlington Fire. So you would hear them on the EMS to Hospital TGIDs.

No idea what they may be using in Denton County. They do not have a licensed frequency for Denton County. If they are using the Denton County TRS, no one, apparently, has identified & submitted it.

For a lot of their interfacility work (and even their 911 ops), they use a smartphone and an app/platform called Logis. FWIW, MedStar uses this heavily as well.

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing that come up previously. That, of course, is not something that could be monitored via a scanner.

They use logis dispatch system and try to keep radio traffic to a bare minimum. In fact, Dallas units have the uhf channel but it’s used for tones for Ellis county. It’s a super secret operation over there I guess

I hear them on NTIRN for Ellis County and, separately, on NTIRN for Johnson County. Additionally, they are very prevalent on HOTRRS covering Waco and most of McLennan County.

AMR don't operate in Grayson unless they are transferring. Texas Vital Care, Preston VES, and Medic 1 are the only 911 contracted private EMS services serving Grayson Co. You can hear those dispatched on Sherman, Denison, Whitesboro and Grayson Co. Fire.

I thought I saw somewhere they had just contracted with Sherman as a secondary service. I hear Van Alstyne call them on occasions out of Anna but I never hear their response.

Anna is in Collin and I've heard them run mutual aid to both Van Alstyne and Gunter but they dispatch off PAWMCO and then AMR Collin 453.07500 PL: 192.8. As far as Sherman, I've not heard of them contracting as a secondary. Texoma EMS was to serve Sherman & Denison but their response was so bad, Denison cancelled them and is taking back EMS. If they do in fact provide secondary, they'll probably be on Sherman Fire dispatch.
