Does anyone have any info on what frequencies AMR is using in Daviess County? They recently took over for Yellow Ambulance that used 155.1600 for dispatch. I can now hear central dispatch page EMS on 159.0150. If the EMS unit is close, I can hear them respond and talk to dispatch on 155.1600, but I cannot hear AMR dispatch on either frequency. I know AMR operates on DMR systems in Louisville, Lexington, and Indiana, but haven't been able to monitor their dispatch in Owensboro as of yet.

My suggestion would be to keep checking the Emergency Radio Service DMR systems in the area. That seems to be the place they are usually found.

They have talk groups on the ERS system in Kenton County but I only hear them when the computer dispatching system goes down so it's possible they may do the same in the Owensboro area so radio calls could be sparse.

Well I know since Henderson EMS was taken over by Deaconess Hospital they have stopped using our new 700 mhz P252 system. They are now dispatched via AMR in Evansville by cell phones. Evansville AMR is dispatched the same way, maybe Owensboro is doing the same thing since it is AMR?

AMR Lexington is now dispatched via LTE Work orders. DMR is now used for office to office calling or backup. Here in Lex they still carry UHF DMR radios and have them in trucks but they aren't used as much as before.

AMR Ambulance Dispatching in Evansville IN, Deaconess Henderson KY, Deaconess Union County KY, and Deaconess Southern IL are dispatched via a handheld smartphone like device that each person carries and allows the calls to be dispatched with crews and vehicles GPS, maps of any location be forwarded to the device in the unit, instant "panic button" in the cab which over-rides all other communications. There is also provisions for voice comms and in some instances access to a limited amount of the patients medical records. (Found this out when my wife was transported during the AT&T outage post Christmas hoha) Some of the EMS units may have local VHF/UHF radios installed for monitoring or interoperation, but dispatch is normally not done there.

Same for the Erlanger office, they also use the mobile data units with backup communications on the ERS CAP+ DMR site at Taylor Mill.
