Good Afternoon,

I looked and didn't find what I was looking for so here I am. I have the Uniden BCD325P2 and use Proscan. I've had the radio and it programmed for a year this week. I did have SHP for Forsyth, Stokes, programmed in but here recently I have noticed I'm not hearing anything. When I go to Proscan, I have found under State Viper System, under Rowan County, all the Troop Districts and Forsyth is Troop E. I see all the info there. I uploaded that to the scanner but still not hearing anything. Can someone point me to where I need to download from in Proscan or what's going on. Maybe I'm not in the right place on Proscan. I am in Forsyth but know they dispatch out of Rowan. Frustrating.

Are you hearing other traffic on the tower you have programmed? It could be a site issue rather than a talkgroup issue. The other thing is don't limit the SHP TGs I'd program all in all the SHP talkgroups.

That sounds like a site/tower issue, I'd look into adding all sites in your county and the county near you and see if this changes anything.

You need to:

1. Look at this website: NCSHP Troop locations, then.

2. Go to Wikipedia to find the county of the specific Troop Location.

3. Go Radio Reference to look at the VIPER system

4. Look for tower in that county

I have Troops B, C n', D. In my scanners. Because of what counties are in which Troops.
