If someone in northern Franklin County (preferably in the Worthington/Westerville area) gets a chance, please monitor the following frequencies for Anheuser-Busch.

They used to have a Motorola Type II Smartnet system, but it appears to be gone. Searching the FCC database shows a license for the following frequencies (analog NFM and mobile only):

461.98750000
462.16250000
462.23750000
462.28750000
462.31250000
462.38750000

Please let me know what you find.

Thanks,

Tom WA8PYR

Oh yes, the good ol' encrypted beer factory.

I'm in that area on a daily basis, I'll see if I come up with anything.

I'm going to drive into Worthington this evening in order to get better reception, I can't receive it using my SDS from my home (3.5 miles straight-line distance). I'll update this again later tonight/tomorrow morning about what I hear.

I CAN hear activity from home using my old UHF Motorola portable, simply because the UHF sensitivity is better. The only frequency I've heard anything on is 462.1625 MHz. Many bursts of digital data on this frequency. No action yet on the others but I'm going to see how my luck goes tonight.

Since I heard these data bursts using my (analog) Motorola, I can't hear any voice, just the data bursts. I will take the SDS into Worthington and scan those frequencies again to hopefully pick up some voice, and any associated information such as CTCSS, DCS, whatever. (y)

So sorry about the late reply, I thought I sent it from my phone, but apparently it did not send.
I took the scanner down there with those frequencies in a separate favorites list on my Uniden SDS. Still only hearing data bursts on the same frequency as in my previous post.

I had the scanner set for digital/analog voice and I had the tone search enabled and still only heard data.

OK, thanks for checking!
