Another 106 ?

While scanning conventional freqs., I occasionally get at DG. But, I also see Dg occasionally. I know it has to do with digital decoding, but what is the difference between the G and g? Should I see this when parked on a P25 frequency?

Are these settings influenced anyway (under my control), as in p vs. P, l vs L, d vs D?

Searching here didn't seem to yield anything of substance. Hundreds of posts, mostly having to deal with medical services in or around Denver, CO, with only a casual reference to DG.

I'm guessing they're referring to Denver General (hospital).
