My thoughts and prayers go out to Investigator Pearson's family and friends. I wish we did not need the ODMP website but I am glad it is there to remind us of the sacrifices so many of our local men & women make daily in their quest to keep honor and safety a part of the Thin Blue Line.
My prayers go out as well to Deputy Ryan Dawson as he recovers from his injuries.

I actually read about it earlier tonight on PoliceOne.com and immediately forwarded it to my department. It has been a rough 30 days for the members of the law enforcement profession. 4 in Oakland. 3 in Pittsburgh. 1 in our state & too close to home. May Detective Pearson's family be covered in prayer at this time, as well as, Deputy Dawson as he heals. :(

I wouldnt forget about the 1 carthage office who was the only single officer to stop 1 man who killed 8 others as he took 2 bullets to himself but its a good thing he is still alive but still heart breaking everyone else did not make it.

People who dont want to go to jail should never do the crime as the sentence goes but these things are WAY to close to home and im always wondering if my family members are ok "LAPD, Nebraska state police, NYPD and me here"
