first of all f14 tomcat not f18 tomcat as for the snowbirds the hawk is a leased airplane i think they are waiting for the lease to expire then buy them back at half the price if that is true its a good idea to help us save money BUT if they replace the tutor it will be a sad day now as per our airshow i hope something is done to save our show

Today at 10:45am the snowbirds and the t33 landed at Pearson then the orion landed at 11:15 am the Harvard were already on the ground when I got there it is now 12:22 and still no cf18 yet

Oh and the wing edge suit 540 also arrived at 11:10am

I wonder why private airplanes are in Pearson and not on the island airport anyone know???

Good catch on the practice times. I will be down at the lakeshore tomorrow to observe. I am wondering if the F16's that will be doing fly by's will be landing at YYZ, or just coming up from new york state, doing a few passes and going back home.

I do not think they are going to land here but I wonder why we don't have the viper demo team here they were good and loud I said it once and I will say it again our lovely airshow is falling apart

I heard this year due to USAF budget cut backs there is no Viper Demonstration anymore. they have a website still but not so sure they are actively doing airshows......

Keep an eye on them Hornets max ! Last year they parked them out of sight, as they were not at the North Lounge with the A10s. I wonder why ???

Does anyone have any information on the CIAS airshow frequencies for the 2012 show?

I have used these in past years, it's a list I've cobbled together but I could be missing some important channels.

iam on the vip mailing list. after participating in a survey about the show, i recived a email explaining u.s. cut backs in flying demo teams is the major reason no f-22,blue angles ect comming out of the u.s.

Don't like it? Dont go. It's not like you are forced to go, its entertainment.

$755 mill is a lot to spend on anything, and I bet the price increases from that estimate.

I just got back from the lakeshore as I have been down there since 10AM. The Hornet did a nice show and was first to practice today. They made a few passes with the C130 and the refuelling boom was also out. I heard BOSS control say the F16 was cancelled....................

Not too sure if it was just the practice, or cancelled for the entire show.

The CF-18 sure was loud. It seems to get louder every year I hear it! LOL

Harvards did some nice passes as well as MAKO-1 CT-133


BOSS is still on 119.2
