Another Tahoe Install

I broke down and installed my BCT15 into my 05 Tahoe this week. I cut out the lower pocket enough so I could use the DIN from the 996. This way I can swap out radios as needed. I had a storage pocket to the right off the radio so I pulled the pocket out and installed a Uniden ESP5.

Thanks for the comments. I wish I could have done more with the speaker but thats the only way to get it to fit.

I saw your other thread about your new Larsen NMO 150/450/800. With the BCT15 and your trusty BCD396T you should be in great shape on the road!

What's that on the air vent above the Uniden speaker?

air freshener...just clips onto the A/C vent and has a valve type thing at the top to determine how fresh you want your car to smell! nice install btw...

Update to the install.

Today I took a few more shots. Someone requested an antenna shot so I took one. I also wanted to show my mod for hanging my 396. I took a piece of stiff plastic from and old scanner 35mm tray that matched my interior and I cut it out slightly larger to match the hole size of the storage pocket I had on the left side. Then I drilled a hole and cut out a notch. Now I can hang my 396 and monitor digital channels or backup channels from the BCT15. I also use it to hang my GPS on road trips.
