I've bought from Radio shack a shortwave antenna 70' copper wire.
and spread them into 5 run N/S in my atic 45' of the ground
and connected the wire via RG6 (12' long)
to a cable drop amp +15db booster... Now I get stuff like I never got before (air, train)
UHF 450 is great but I think I've killed 154Mhz... it is aweful. and when I unplug the booster VHF is very week but 400Mhz to 1Gz seems to be alright.
what I really want is 154mhz - 170mhz
what do you suggest? is the booster Overkill? it seems to pickup TV station sometime.
and I use a Pro-2051
btw I think I'd rather wait in winter to back in the atic !!
Thank you this place is great.
