Must just be in your loaction, i was at my local RATSHACK yesterday looking for an adapter (but of course they didn't have it)
and the mast were still way over priced....................

Rat Shacks are all independent stores, so supply and cost will vary from store to store

Here your lucky if they have any mast at all! Now if you want a stupid phone, that's no problem.
I would check with any electrical or plumbing contractor first for heavy duty mast.

I use 1 1/2" EMT conduit for mast, from Home Depot, it's $10.?? per 10' section, about the same as the Junk mast RATSHACK sells but 100% stronger and it's galvanized so rusting is not a problem.

I also have this vertical at 30' with no guy wires, try that with the cheap mast RatShack sells.

Ratshack mast is NOT worth the money i don't care how much they want for it.

Just my 2 cents worth...........................................

90% of the Radio Shack stores are company owned. The price change just happened 2 days ago and not all stores have changed the price tags. The older masts are no longer on the web, only the grey replacements.

You can with a chimney mount kit,but make sure it's sturdy first. Personally,I don't like using chimneys for a support structure, but you'll get different opinions.
