Hello I was just wondering if anyone knew of anybody near the Portland Oregon area who could I contact for help with installing a base antenna professionally.
If you want professional installation, contact a 2 way radio shop. They'll understand how to do the installation to National Electric Code, and how to properly do the entire process from end to end. If you want it done once and done right, this is the way to go. Proper grounding, lightning protection, waterproofing of the connections, etc.
I'm not from Portland, but the only shop I'm aware of up that way is Silke Communications. I work with one of their other shops and they are pretty good. There are others, though, I'm just not familiar with them.
Just make sure you have a decent antenna. Most shops are not going to warranty hobby grade equipment and might shy away from a job if it's low end equipment you want installed.
Nothing really major I just don’t trust my antenna skills and don’t like heights
A professional shop will be expensive, so plan accordingly. Like I said above, they'll do it right the first time and it'll last decades. Might be worth the extra cost.

OK, money is the blocker for most.
If a professional shop does get too expensive, just about any TV/Satellite TV dealer could do it, or know someone who can.
