antenna question

I have a roof mount antenna for my 996xt but am upgrading to 325P2 to get phase 2, would it be ok while in the house to just hook up the roof mount to the hand held would it cause any problems ?

No problems. Be sure to use a light flexible pigtail to avoid unnecessary stress on your antenna connector.
