Can't xmit thru a Doppler DF unit ... you're clearly overthinking a lot of this.
A 'four square' is also a possibility here, and may evolve from this design (for my purposes.)

Gee, you ever think maybe interference could be reduced using F/B ratio here? Some of us live in cities and hear 'birdies' from nearby neighbor sources.
