Damn Ebay! I really did not need a "new to me" radio, but the Kenwood R-1000 I saw last evening just would not let go of me. It arrives Tuesday.

I watched Ebay for quite a while before I ever bid on anything there. I just did not have the warm & fuzzies about the idea of spending my $s without being able to inspect exactly what I was buying.

The R-1000 was not my first Ebay purchase. The seller (bigapple59) was actually recommended to me by an acquaintance. He has great reviews, too. The first purchase from bigapple59 was my R-5000. Now this R-1000. He's one seller that I have absolutely no qualms dealing with.

Within 90 minutes of my purchase, I was notified that a FedEx shipping label had been created. I just hope he doesn't post anything else I'm interested in for a bit.
