The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is part of the Georgia Northeastern Railroad Co. which is licensed for 160.56 MHz. Radio Reference shows they also use 154.6 MHz which is a low power MURS frequency for handheld radios. That is all I could find. No guarantees!

That is a different railroad. Blue Ridge Scenic is operated by Ga. Northeastern RR. They aren't in NC.

My wife and I will be riding in a few days and would like to monitor. Does anyone have any up-to-date frequency information for this attraction? Thanks in advance.

When I rode the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway in June 2021, they were using 160.560 (AAR-30) for rail operations and the rail car attendants were using 456.525 (PL 192.800) (which they weren't licensed on, but are known to pre-loaded in the Baofeng radios that the attendants were carrying at the time).

If using MURS radios for the attendants, any of the following frequencies could be used:

Thanks to everyone for all of the replies. My wife and I enjoyed our relaxing rail trip along the Toccoa River in Northeast Georgia. Our car attendant was especially engaging and informative.
For any future Blue Ridge Scenic Railway inquiries, I can confirm that AAR 30 (160.560) is currently being used for rail operations and MURS 5 (154.600) is being used by the car attendants and concession staff. The attendants' radios I saw were all Motorola's and appeared to be fairly new.
