VHF CG - Non VHF Marine channels

Here is a good starter, altho each Sector/Station tends to use different channels.

Many of these were called LANTS [1990's] and now referred to as CG-##

I guess I did then. The scanner was very active and though. I would have liked to have picked up the helo's

Could you give me a link or point to a reference were I can see for myself major and important CG frequncies being in the 162 to 174 range as neither the Pro-97 the preprogrammed nor the GC page http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/marcomms/vhf.htm references frequecies in those ranges. NOAA weather is in those ranges but I cant see anything else important.

Nope, many of them can be found Nationwide/World Wide, but have not been reported by folks. :( Bet you can find the CG Channel being used by Sector Southern New England in less than a Day of monitoring.

FYI...approx 0730, as the 25' boats sign on in Boston they test on 81 then switch to CG-08 to test there. Bet the RI stations do as well and the assigned CG channel
