Anyone got any frequencies for area 51 miltaray base in nevada? i saw a tv show where their security was in 200 mhz range. does anyone have any info on area 51? :?:

While many of the AM avaition frequencies may be correct, the majority of the Nellis Range other than Nellis AFB itself, are on Govt. Trunked in the 400Mhz bands.
The Nellis Range is Motorola and much is encripted while Nellis AFB is also 400 Mhz. M/A com (EDACS) and on some occasions encripted.
Very few of the older frequencies in the site at Google have been updated in years and are now incorrect.
Some of those frequencies are posted on this site but are not in the order of operation and the sites are incorrect.
Also, on some occasions the conventional frequencies are in fact used, however, it is difficult to know which ones will be used.
Looks like a project to me!

Not to be rude or anything, but do we really believe that something you can buy at Radio Shack can crack encryption codes used by classified USAF bases? I've never been to Las Vegas personally, but I have to believe that everything in that area probably has the most advanced equipment there is, and you and I won't even be able to understand it for years.

Anything you would be able to pick up can't be more than security guards talking about what they're having for lunch.
