I was beginning to wonder if there was anyone South of OKC.

Do you have a scanner which detects CTCSS tones? I'm wondering what Ardmore OHP uses for some of their base/mobile relays. I can only hear the base from here on 45.22 and the Connerville MR on 155.445 (100.0). They have links on 460.425 (Marietta), 154.695 & 155.310 (Stratford), and another on 462.500 for unknown use. Have you ever heard any traffic on 42.6. They have a base license on it.

OHP just licensed two 800 towers this past fall in Marietta & Tishomingo in Troop F but I haven't heard anything on them yet.

A few of the troopers that go farther north can use 800 to communicate with OKC, but for the most part they use the lower bands and the local nets......I occasionally get OSBI and OBNDD on 42.6 for a very brief period

Why are they using 42.6 when they have their own frequencies?

What about those relay link frequencies I mentioned previously. Do you monitor any of them? Confirmed any uses and/or tones?

They bounce off of the Stratford relays quite often........I am on the wrong side of the mountains to catch Marietta.
