I currently have Pro96Com running on a MS Surface attached to a Uniden 996XT and that setup has been solid for a while. I got prompted yesterday to "install an update"...which turned out to be Windows 11, and after that upgrade Pro96Com would launch but would generate exception errors when attempting to connect. When going to the settings tab to reconfigure the serial port, the drop down box was empty and the Rescan button was greyed out.
I assumed initially this was an incompatibility problem with Win11. There is a procedure that, if it has been less than 10 days, you can revert back to Win10, which I completed.
However, Pro96Com still had the exact same problem. I then determined that the issue was a missing parameter in the pro96com.ini file, which fixed the problem--on Win10.
I am gun shy about upgrading to Win11 now that its fixed and working. But wanted to check with everyone here and see if anyone else is using it on Win11.
