I am experiencing an issue with programming on a Anytone radio, or I believe it’s the radio. 🤔
I am programming it for a simplex hotspot. I can hear all transmissions, but the hotspot does not see my transmission. I know the radio tx, because I can hear and see the data on a different radio.

I thought it might be a hotspot or brandmeister issue, but since I am able to tx and receive on a different radio, and see my data on the brandmeister network, I ruled those two possibilities out.

I have both my call sign and DMR ID loaded in the radio. I just don’t know what else to check!

Would there be anyone who may offer some suggestions on what I might check?

Thanks

Possibly, your hotspot's receive frequency is off and/or there may be a CTCSS or DPL PL code in your hotspots receiver that is missing, required or programmed wrong. Some hotspots have a frequency offset that can be programmed to get the best reception from your transmitter. The offset could be wrong. You will have to go through your hotspot's programming page and make sure. Other than that, I haven't a clue...
ETA, if you are transmitting in DMR to your hotspot, is the analog or digital box checked in the AnyTone's programming? Digital should be checked. I think you can see I have very little experience with hotspots, LOL...

He mentions Brandmeister so he should be setting up for DMR.

I would suspect alignment of your hotspot being the issue. Could also be your Anytone, but I would start with the hotspot.

Also in the Anytone, if its a simplex hotspot, make sure you set the DMR channel in the radio as simplex and not repeated in the dropdown. On mine, even if the frequencies are the same, if that dropdown is set to repeater instead of DMO/simplex, it wont work.
