AOR 8000 memory bank propblem

I wonder if anyone knows on the AOR
8000 how I can get from one memory bank to another Because it’s so annoying each memory bank has only fifty damn channels
For days I thought bank had 150 channels on it but I think
The 1 before the fifty must of been I damn

the Wiki page has reference to get copy of manual. it's been a while, but I don't recollect that it was difficult to change.....

Are you in Expert mode; if not push your scan button, press and hold function and push local button. Scroll down to FUNC and turn knob to 2ndF, scroll down again to NEWUSER, turn knob to EXPERT, scroll one more time down and if you don't want to autoload active freqs turn knob so display says off. Press enter. Press scan if not scanning, press Func (no need to hold it in on EXPERT mode) , press scan and display should read BNK.LK OFF. Turn knob to say ON. Scroll down to next line and press the letters of the banks in upper case you want to link to scan. Scroll down to next line and press the letters of the lower case you want to link to scan. Continue scrolling down and turn knob to set each item how you want. When done press ENT and if the scanner is not scanning the linked
banks, press one of the letters that is linked and you should be scanning the linked banks.
