AOR 8200 MkII Programming

Are there any easy suggestions (other than software) to program frequency information into channels in the 8200 MkII? I've determined how to enter frequencies into the radio but I would like to determine how to program and store frequency and possibly text information to an assigned channel.


I'm gonna say it... I'M STUMPED.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

You can go to WWW.AORUSA.COM and get the software that is free for the AR8200 and use that to computer program in the info.

I will not buy any scanner, receiver nor radio that can't be programed by computer. These modern marvels are great, buy my sanity is more than worth the cost of cable and software.

I have to different software programs that make it so simple to make changes, and one even makes the band scan on my MKIII a real pleasure.

You can wear your fingers out, of get nothing but enjoyment out of the receiver.
