If you buy the AR-DV1, I highly recommend the Butel software. Will make your life easier in terms of programming the receiver.

How do you send the data to your AR-DV1 ?? Is it stored on the removable SD Card ? Or do i need some type of cable ?

The AR-DV1 uses a standard USB male to micro USB male cable, like you see used on many cell phones nowadays. These cables can be purchased for less than $10 in 3' and 6' lengths almost everywhere (i.e., Amazon, Best Buys, Staples, Walmart, etc.).
