Hi everybody.
After few years and few firmware updates (latest inclusive 403A D3N5A P511A)
still remaining some bugs to solve by developers. Many errors and bugs was really solved, and I am happy about that. But there' s still some things to do.
Some bugs are more important, some are just details. Here are all sorted by importance:

BUG Nr.1 :
OFFSET RECEPTION - after activating this funkction, receiver allow you to receive two frequencies within 5 MHz span independently. Problem is, that secondary VFO does not open AUDIO line until some signal does not open squelch on primary VFO. You can see tha traffic on second VFO, but does not hear audio. This problem is specific for AR5700D. If you are owner of AR5001D, this function works without problem.

BUG Nr.2 :
OFFSET RECEPTION - after finally adding "new" step 8.33 kHz to receiver, it works with one VFO, but if you activate 2F OFFSET, secondary VFO still does not calculate frequencies with this specific step.

BUG Nr.3 :
OFFSET RECEPTION / DUAL BAND RECEPTION - if you are using CTCSS/DCS decoding function, after activating 2F OFFSET (DUAL BAND) function, all decoders will be turned off.

BUG Nr.4 :
VOICE INVERSION - if you are using CTCSS/DCS decoding function, after activating voice inversion, decoders are not working. You will see the function on display, but receiver does not open squelch, because it does not decode any tones even of they are used by received stations. So voice inversion and CTCSS/DCS/DTMF decoders are not working simultaneously.

BUG Nr.5 :
SLOW AGC - if you are activating SEARCH MODE (it doesn't matter if you are activating CYBER SEARCH or classical SEARCH MODE) and using AM demodulator, receiver will automatically set AGC to "SLOW". Programming of searching range does not have AGC setting feature and current setting of memory or current VFO doesn't matter either.

BUG Nr.6 :
RECEIVER STUCK - In current FW still remaining old bug and I am not sure, that maybe for AR5001D applies the same. If you are enter frequency (more than 11 numbers) without any decimal point and press ENT, receiver will stay stuck, you can only press POWER to restart. It does not affect receiving, it is probably bug inside control head FW.

BUG Nr 7:
GSSI MODE - if you are storing and naming known talk groups (GSSI) using control panel, you have only 10 characters available, but if you are programming names via software, you can use 11 characters.

So that is what I have found, maybe you know another bugs.
For me personally is the first bug most important, because it makes OFFSET FUNCTION unusable.

I wonder what folks here think of DMR reception with this radio. I think it’s fair to consider the lack of audio headroom in this mode as a bug.
My cheap Anytone handhelds decode louder than average transmissions faultlessly, they simply sound louder as you would expect.
The 5700 on the other hand often produces very unpleasant limiting distortion on loudness peaks of the same transmissions when the radios are compared side by side.
