I just purchased an ar8200, I was wondering how to reprogram the search bank names?

If you didn't get a manual with your purchase you're gonna need one badly.

Wish I could help, but I can't remember that procedure off the top of my head and I've sold mine some months ago.

Several places online where you can download the manual (eg. PDF Operating Manuals / Instruction Sheets | Download Area | Support | AOR U.S.A., INC. Authority On Radio Communications).

The methodology for adding the text names is the same across all three incarnations of the AR8200. You don't say which version you bought but if not a MkIII then the older manual (eg. AOR AR8200 MK III) might be better for you.

On the AR8200 yahoo group there should be copies of a quick reference guide I wrote many years ago. Smallest version is designed to fit onto a credit card size laminate.
