Hi Jeff and all. Been spending most of my time monitoring with the Uniden SDS200. Nevertheless, my DV1 is almost always on monitoring at least one or two frequencies. And sometimes I spend an hour or two with it just "tuning around" lately.

My question for you marlbrook, and any one else who wished to chime is, it if anyone has noticed any difference in actual reception between the 2107 firmware and the 1907B, which I am currently using? Simple answers are appreciated.

As an aside, ALL radios are amazing to me, but I am always fascinated with the operation of the DV1. Thanks again everyone. -Mike

Hello, I got screwed with the 2107A update and it shows me 'NO RES'.
I read your advice on this version too late.
How can I fix it? I want to go back to the version 1907B.

No email from you as yet - Is there a problem?

New firmware version 2108B http://www.aorja.com/support/firmware.html
Courtesy of a member on another site..

Bug fixes:
- Fixed “NO RES. Mainboard" error bug which arises when the firmware is updated to 2107A with the receiver system date (year) being older than 2014. Or after update, the user sets by mistake a date (year) before 2014.
- If the SD card was inserted at bootup, receiver performance would be affected while the SD content is first read.
- Fixed rare cases of receiver hangup occurring when switching between analog and digital modes.

Good to see some movement BUT I'm holding off on installation until The Master of the DV1 makes his assessment. I'll wait to hear from marlbrook.

I will start testing v.2108B tomorrow. Will take a few weeks I imagine. The AOR 'Bug Fixes' makes no reference to the intermittent 'No Res' problem that is happening, and several other v.2107A issues. They 'may' have fixed at least some of them and not mentioned it. So for the time being, at this early stage, I recommend sticking with v.1907B.
