Does anybody know of a website, that provides Software for the AOR 8200 Mrk III. I have seen Butel, and JAOR in the UK that has it, also AOR has a free download, but get aload of this. The free software from AOR will not work with Windows Vista (32bit or 64bit), or Windows 7. The techs are aware of this but failed to inform the public about this problem. The other two software companies listed above have stated that Windows XP is the highest you can go for software usage. Butel has a program to download the XP version of it, but the other "option" is a link (use at the owners risk) of a patch that may work with your Vista, that's after you pay 69.95 for the program.
The radio is a excellent receiver, but why would anybody manufacture a device that needs support that I would guess would become a sell out or backorder item, because of the demand. Anyway sorry about vending but I spend hours programing this well to do item and there must be a easier way of doing this.
