APX APX 900 issue

We just received 6 brand new APX 900 back from the shop programmed, everything seemed to be okay, but when you're in scan, unless the selector knob is on the channel, it won't hear anything. The radio says it's scanning, but if I am channel 1 in my zone and there is traffic on Channel 3, I can't hear it...move the selector to Channel 3 boom, I hear everything.

I believe the shop has the scan function on, but no scan list associated with it. Thoughts? Am I missing something?

Or the scan list isn't populated with the TGs you are desiring to scan. If the PROG menu is available, see if you can view/change the list.

I bet whoever programmed them did not follow the Motorola scan triangle. All 3 have to match up before scanning will occur.
MTS2000des is correct: look for the PROG menu item. If you don't have it then take the radios back to the radio shop and have them make sure all personalities are matched to Zone/Channels and Scan List.

The radio won't even go into scan mode unless a scan list is assigned to the personality.
