Very expensive. For that kind of money you can get a real HF radio - heck many used transceivers have a decent general coverage receiver - and build a nice antenna like the Carpet Loop (the plans for which are in the wiki) if you know how to solder and use some basic tools.
The 8200 is a OK radio on HF, but I think you're going to find that it falls short when it comes to things like overloading. It just can't handle a big antenna, even indoors.
