AR8200 MKIII Display light How To

I have forgotten how to activate the display/keys light for this radio...any help?

FUNC then CONF then scroll down to the lamp. If you have the IR model hold in the rotary dial on the side for 2 sec to go between normal and IR.

Not so. Plugged in wallwart and lamps worked. Removed wallwart and lamps lamps still work. Must have something to do with the IR display which I don't use. Anyone hanve some NVGs I can borrow?:roll:
