i go to trunk on arc500 and it says at bottom radioref disconeted wating retrieving http data ever time what can i do
my porb is i have 3 pro-106 that need programed !!!!!!!!!! they will just half to wait
You could always use the WIN500 30-day free ride to do the programming until your ARC software is updated. Maybe unethical, but it could be done.
yea win500 is hard the arc500 is easy win it works!!!!!!!!!!but i will try win500 again
Thank you very helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you. However, let me point out that regardless of what software you use to program you scanner, you will NOT be able to import any information from the Database without a Premium Subscription.
I've never used ARC so I cannot argue that with you. I have, however, used WIN500 for a year now and have not had problems, so speak of, and DonS, the author, does not go on vacation!
Anyway, I've written an illustrated, step-by-step help file that may make it somewhat easier.
Also Jeff, A few weeks ago I ask ARC500 to do something about his Reband Calculator. When used as designed, it recalculated frequencies for all 18 TSYS in my file. Including VHF, UHF, 385, 764 and 900 trunking systems. The calculator provided no method for which TSYS to recalculate. Due to incorrect data this makes it impossible to send a profile to the scanner. Thus useless software until the problem is fixed. Win500 and PSREdit both have reband calculations set by each TSYS.the arc is a little easier! but with your help i was able to use win500 . was not so hard after all . thank you thank you if you ever need anything email me at alticefamily@aol.com
Just on a side note, people generally end sentences with a period, not multiple exclamation points. Also, there are several threads on the problem with Butel software and the new Radio Reference web interface. Just a suggestion that maybe you might want to look at the forum before starting yet another one.
