Just wanted to know if you can program the SDS200 by taking out the microSD card and putting it into an adapter and plugging it into the computer with the card out of the scanner. I know you can with Sentinel software. But can you do the same with the ARC536 Basic software.

Yes, you can. When you put the SDS200 in "Mass Storage" mode, it essentially turns the SDS200 into a card reader.... except very much slower.

Anything that can recognize and access an SD card as a mass storage device can do so whether it's in the scanner that's in the "Mass Storage" mode or in a stand-alone card reader.
