Hello all,

I am a former Baltimore County Fire Dispatcher from over a decade ago. For a while, I thought it would be cool to have some audio of me working to share with my nieces as they grew up, as well as my fiance. I have tried to Google and have even checked YouTube but I have not been able to find anything that contained my voice. Does anyone know if there are any archives that date back that far? I assume I could reach out to the county to purchase a specific record, but I don't even know if they keep audio from that long ago. Any help would be appreciated! (Note: I kept some details hidden for anonymity, but if more details are needed, let me know.)

You can check the archives of Broadcastify (RadioReference). I don't know how far back they go.

A year, at best, certainly nowhere near the full decade the OP is asking about.

Worth a shot. Are you still in contact with anybody over there? Wouldn't hurt to ask. Welcome to the RR forums!

Also just as an FYI, I checked the county website and it says they only keep 911 records for 365 days. Not sure about dispatch audio, but probably similar.

Some people have old recordings of radio transmissions. The old Watchdesk forum was a great place to find those, unfortunately, I would not know where to look. Good luck

Were you involved in any major incidents? The TV station where I worked has all of its news stories archived with one of the universities. It's possible that they have your voice dispatching apparatus. I believe all of the local stations did the same thing.
