Thanks, I thought so. I’m guessing Lynn and Benton are the same along with Albany PD.

I was thinking of adding these to my SDS-100 just to expand my listening variety as I typically listen to Fire only.

Linn County SO, Albany PD and Benton County Law are all unencrypted and on the SW7 System. LCSO and BCL are even patched onto analog frequencies but I'm not really sure how far out you can hear those. Benton County Law contains all of Benton County Sheriff's, Corvallis Police and Philomath Police on the same channel. You can tell the difference between the units by their callsigns. 400 units are Benton County Sheriff, 800 are Corvallis Police and 1100 are Philomath Police.

The Linn County Wiki Page and Benton County Wiki Page contain some useful info about how they all operate so if you're ever confused when listening to them those would be good pages to visit.

Thanks so much , I’m able to hear most of those FD’s on VHF so I might be able to hear the LE frequencies also. But typically only would be listening to MCSO and PCSO maybe Yamhill CSO as I hear their FD well on my SDS-100 outside on our third floor deck in NW Salem.

A bit late and slightly off topic, but you seem to know a bit about this area. In Benton County, dispatch has been moving Corvallis Police to what they refer to as 7Benton2 for the shift between 3:30 pm and 10:30 pm every day. This channel is not on the feed to Radio Reference/Broadcastify provided by our wonderful volunteer feed/god. I have physical scanner, but I am challenged trying to find 7Benton2 to catch the CPD dispatch. Any insight? Thank you in advance.

7Benton2 might be listed in the data base, other wise, best bet would be a talk group search.

"7-Benton-2" is TGID 2031 (labeled as Sheriff Tactical on the database) I've never heard it used as tactics for BCSO specifically, I've always heard it used as the secondary channel used whenever necessary and when they want to move Corvallis PD to their own channel. I just name it Secondary on my scanners.

Not sure why it's called "7-Benton-2" when its their 5th channel and the TGID number is way higher than the others. Linn County has something similar with TGID 22701 which they just refer to as "Interop 7". While it is an interop channel it seems to be mainly used during Linn County Search & Rescue operations and sometimes some fire units from Lane County will hop on to assist.

I actually started making a list a while ago listing the names I've heard TGIDs referred to as by their users. It's very lacking but it's a start and I hope to continue it in the future.

Benton County Law
2001 - "7 Benton 1"
2031 - "7 Benton 2"

Linn County Sheriff
22001 - "7 Linn 1", "SO 1"
22003 - "SO 2"
22701 - "OPS 7", "Interop 7"

Albany Police
22033 - "Tactical"
22035 - "Emergency"

I have a feeling that APDs main channel 22031 is named "7 Albany 1" but I have not heard this said before.

My understanding is the reason they call it 7 Benton or 7 Linn, is that helps dispatch and units, because once Benton SO gets west they switch to patched Vhf repeater once TRS is out of range. Same goes for Linn county. I'm not sure any many Vhf repeater they have patched to the TRS but it used to be 4, i think its only 3 VHF repeaters are patched now. Since Albany doesn't have to switch to Vhf/uhf repeater, i don't think they call it 7 Albany 1, Its just know as "Albany 1"
