TOM,
I HAVE both VHF AND UHF emergency and MOST of the WASHINGTON AND NY ATCC, frequencies PLUS ALL the NJ military frequencies on Ron (mdmonitor)'s list. So I'm not sure WHAT I'm missing

I believe this is the Army helicopter you heard. This is from around the date and time you heard it.

The screenshot he was asking about doesn't really look like that site, unless the screenshot is somehow 2 browser windows overlapped. But, it does look like Virtual Radar Server (VRS), which is also used by that site. I think the screenshot is from a locally running version of VRS, where the person that posted is able to see historical data and also filter for military-only flights? Looks cool to me.

He was on 123.000. Now here's the catch he specifically said MILLVILE AIRPORT. Millville is i n Cumberland County. Are there military aircraft at Millville airport?

Sometimes Military Choppers will fly to different airports as part of their training to keep current.

If it's a solo chopper, don't expect a lot of coms, it they are in pairs or more, then it's time to do some searching...
What scanner are you using?

Just to reconfirm, this afternoon a Chinook CH-47 chopper flew overhead heading south to Millville airport, I.D'd himself on CRAF frequency 123.0 as ''Army Chopper 08208''. Went into Millville runway #32 and did practice touch and goes for about 40 minutes and then headed north again.

I had a chance to tour the Boeing factory in Ridley Park a couple years ago during there open house for Employees and family. Cool place. I didn't have either one of those frequencies in my scanner, I'll try them.

Boeing has been upgrading old CH-47D models to F models up there.
Last tail found converted listed here was 14-08171 back in 2014.
Maybe continuation of the program at Ridley.

Yeah they stop down KILG New Castle airport at times as well to test their
ILS runway approach calibrations with tower 126.000. Just do various approaches then depart back to Philly.

There was a CH47 going north up the Hudson River then south over NJ this afternoon. Wonder if it was the same one.

CH47 probably from Boeing in Ridley Twp PA. Try 123.250 or 321.700 both AM mode next time - they do their test flights to Millville

Terry
Villas NJ

Finally got a hit today from ''Army Chopper'' on 123.250 flying in the Vineland area, He shortly switched off to CRAF frequency 122.8 for approach to Downstown airport Vineland.
