Anyone know the name and city of talk group 1033 on the Arvada/Westminster EDACS system? I've been listening for a long time and I only hear units run plates and names. There is never a location mentioned. Although, I have heard the dispatch state they were on channel 3.

Hello jeffereyinberthoud, thanks for the info but I am aware that 1033 is DCSO on the DTRS. This is 1033 for the EDACS. Hence, Arvada/Westminster.

Lately, 1033 has been Westminster PD patches. Anything in the 1032-1035 is patches on that system. Arvada will patch several of their TG's together on an ID in that range to announce a high priority call requiring multiple unit response. Problem is, you can never count on what TG's will be on a patch ID, as a patch seems to use the first available ID in that range.

So, if you have a RS or GRE scanner, I'd recommend keeping 1032, 1033, 1034, and 1035 in your scan list to avoid missing any traffic. The newer Uniden ones follow the patches just like the real radios.

Thanks for that explanation tbiggums. I'll set my RS scanners up with the additional TG's you listed and now I have alpha tags for them too. All good stuff.
