Radio maintence is doing testing on the system, currently the CC is on lcn one. Using the mutual aid tg. As of now might what to unlock the lcn 1-2. Last night i was listening and heard the second control channel, few hours later they remove it.

With the techs enabling/disabling some of the Logical Channels and the 2nd site controller occasionally being turned on with a second CC Tom is giving everyone a heads up in case their scanner acts weird or acts like it's not doing anything. [Thanks Tom]

The site controller in an EDACS system does not generate the control channel. There are a bunch of other things that can make a second control channel appear, but the site controller is not one of them.
M/A-COM had nothing to do with Lakewood's rebanding. They did all of the work on their own.

Since it appears you have M/A connections what exactly is legacy (or whoever they are know as these days) doing with Westy?

Did anyone else pick up the overly obnoxious radio testing on Arvada's Mutual Aid channel?? Could this be related?
I was listening to this, I believe that Arvada/Westy where having radio problems started around 4pm, they had to stop working on at one time due to a suicide attempt in Westy. Even then Arvada dispatch said if they lose comms use the Nextel's. One time heard the tech ask whats a better time to work on the system so they dont interfer with dispatch, reply was around 3 or 4 am. The obnoxious guy was the one whistle in the mike. Actually at one time i thought they did reband lost the control channel for a few minutes, was going to make a comment that Arvada/Westy where gone, but decided to wait alittle.jfab said:

I think it was just radio problems, since the beginning of my post when LCN was on one and using the LCN 2-6 and LCN 7-10 where quite. And then yesterdays problems. Now CC is on two and all LCN are being used. So far working good this AM.
