I am trying to figured out what version of RSS or CPS the Motorola Astro Spectra Plus uses? I have conflicting information. I believe this is the high power version. Do I use the latest version of the Astro 25 Mobile CPS?

but .... here is the problem you need a specific cable that is around $130 from Motorola.. I am dealing with this same headache . I bought the cable and now the software is not reading the radio because the firmware is way old and he software is too new...

Proper cable and port

This is the cable you want. This cable works all the time, every time. I have not done a remote mount radio, but this should work if you plug in the radio remote plate on the radio itself.
