So far.....135.650 is the VHF Air Boss Channel. Coast Guard Ops on 157.150 in coordination with State Police. Close called a brief key up on 173.0125 and 173.075 near the Air Force tent.

I think he got confused. That frequency is LoJack's the auto theft recovery system I think. I read a thread on here somewhere about somebody discovering those frequencies.

I honestly wasn't too impressed with the Air Show. There was way too much lag time between each act. I probably would not return.....not sure what all the hype was about.

I think a lot of that had to do with weather. The Golden Knights had to be pushed back to later in the show because of clouds.

We were lucky the show happened at all. I really didn't think it would start on time with the cloud cover. I have been going to the show since 2008 and it always has been a good show. I'm not a Thunderbirds fan but it's a nice day out for me anyway.

Wasn't too much delay.. Had cloud issues early which scratched the golden knights and the Geico Skytypers had an issue with one of their aircraft that delayed things but everything else went smooth for the most part..

Lag time at shows is becoming the norm, especially since the F-18/F-16/F-22 demo teams have become a rarity when they used to be a staple at most any show. Bomber flybys, also once common, are now also rare, things ain't what they used to be and I foresee them getting worse from here.

Steveradio, at the AC show the only active air channels were the ones used by the Air Boss, coast guard, and the AC airport approach/departure/tower. I never caught anything on the thunderbird frequencies listed or natl guard channels. But, it's a good question whether they use the same Air Boss frequencies for all the air shows.

The Thunderbirds have their own frequencies.. Unfortunately I did not record them. David Schultz Airshows have several different frequencies that they use at different shows. They have another show at New Garden, PA this weekend and also have a show in Ocean City, NJ in mid September.

I know the Thunderbirds have their own frequencies. They are posted on the RR Wiki page. However, they were not used (that I heard anyway) at the AC show. Either RR didn't have updated frequencies listed (which wouldn't surprise me) or they just chose not to use them in AC.

I know for a show they typically have a diamond/delta freq uhf and vhf, solo freq, and a unicast freq. during the show I only heard the solos for some reason.

Going to try and watch alittle on Sunday at LVIA and will let you know, during practice yesterday heard nothing but i figured the old timers dont need radios. The fun part was regualr jet traffic was still on the approach as they were practicing.
Thanks will post findings if anything here. Did post in PA Section but guess not much interest

Well not much than the tower operating under normal conditions and doing there thing since planes were still coming and taking off just advised inbound outbound on the ATIS frequency of the activity.
The airport UHF frequencies were busy with chatter and confirmed Airport Police went digital. Other than that no real communications heard
