I used to hear airport security (not ANG security as far as I know) on VHF but I havn't heard anything on there in a long while. The VHF channel seemed to be used by different people then the talkgroup on the county's EDACS system, which is used by state and EHT officers in the terminal.

Back in 2003, I paid a visit to area. While listening close to the fence area, I monitored the following:
172.8125
172.9125
172.9500
I would assume they are using a different system by now.

It's also possible that the ANG could have some TGs on the New Jersey State Police system (there are some National Guard TGs listed; I don't have the file in front of me right now).

From what I can remember, they were at the lower 163 mhz area years ago. An older Police Call book I just found has these listed:
163.4875
163.5125

To answer ctrabs74's question from what I have heard the TG on the NJSP system are for when they go to a scene and they need to commnicate with the state. I doubt the would used them for operations at the base since it's actually a federal department.I'm sure they also have SPEN and other vhf/uhf frequencies used around the state.

I've heard airport security on the atlantic county 800 system, I know it's for the FAA side, not sure about the guard though.
