I picked up a ATS-25 a few months ago along with a new MLA-30+. Been a great little set. One night a few weeks ago while listening to a good program on Radio Vietnam I heard a loud Pop and that was it. Opened it up to find no apparent damage but all I had now was a loud squeal in the speaker caused by the backlight of the screen. Oddly headphones worked. I dove in and found numerous cold solder joints but everything I did didn't solve the main issue. Contacted the seller and after having to fight them and use customer service to force their hand I got a full refund and the seller insisted on me shipping back the radio or destroying it even after the refund. (NOT).
So I again went in for repair round two and the more I fixed the worse things got. Super fragile traces that make Bose boards look like something out of the early PCB days. LoL.
Needless to say I am after a main board if anyone in the US has a parts set. Pic is of before the destruction. I sent a few other sellers on AliExpress messages but none have returned them yet.
