I recently installed a NooElec R820T and Ham It Up Convertor on to a Win 7 netbook.
I believe that I have everything installed correctly however, my audio is choppy white noise.
In researching I have read in two places that SDR# may have issues with RealTek audio drivers.
However, I get the same response when trying HDSDR. I have tuned to a local FM and TV
frequency and have been able to see them on the specAn and can hear them on my other radios.
I have four choices when selecting an audio output and get the same response on all of them.
Here is a brief list of setting changes I have not made yet.
- I have not set PPM
- I have not set reference frequency
- I have not set any gain levels
I am fairly certain that I am overlooking something and appreciate any guidance you can provide.
Thanks.
