Im using a pro-197,I dont know about the technical stuff as Phase II

996XT is not Phase II capable.
Unless the TGID's have been changed to TDMA, which has not been verified in the GA forum or database, it is to be presumed that they are Phase I. There are people monitoring the system with Phase II capable scanners, and are not getting Phase II TGID's.
It has been well documented that there are problems monitoring this system.
It would be nice if someone ran Pro96com on the system to see what is going on. I don't live in the area, so it won't be me.

As has been stated above, and numerous times elsewhere, the BCD996XT is NOT phase II capable... Never has been, never will be.

People are getting confused. They see that the system is Phase II and they somehow think the control channel is different from a Phase I system.

All that's different about a Phase II system is the possibility that some of the talkgroups might be TDMA.

Your BC996XT will follow a Phase II capable system fine but if any of the talkgroups are TDMA, you won't be able to listen to them.

However, you will be able to listen to Phase I talkgroups without a problem.
